For Sadducees say that there is no resurrection; and no angel or spirit; but the Pharisees confess both.

And of the angels He says: Who makes His angels spirits and His ministers a flame of fire.

Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who are about to inherit salvation.

And it happened as they continued on and talked, that behold, a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into Heaven.

And Elisha prayed, and said, Jehovah, I pray, open his eyes that he may see. And Jehovah opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, like the appearance of torches going back and forth among the living creatures. The fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.
