But his delight is in the Law of Jehovah; and in His Law he meditates day and night.

My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips,

when I remember You upon my bed and meditate on You in the night watches.

I will also meditate on all Your works, and talk of Your deeds.

I will meditate on Your Precepts, and pay attention to Your ways.

I will delight myself in Your Statutes; I will not forget Your Word.

Your Testimonies I have taken as a heritage forever, for they are the rejoicing of my heart.

Therefore I have loved Your Commandments more than gold, yea, than fine gold.

Therefore all Your Precepts have been esteemed upright; I have hated every false way.

My soul has kept Your Testimonies, and I love them exceedingly.

How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O Mighty God! How great is the sum of them!

If I should count them, they are more numerous than the sand; when I awake, I am still with You.

So shall the knowledge of wisdom be to your soul; when you have found it, then there shall be a reward, and your expectation shall not be cut off.

Be glad in Jehovah and rejoice, you righteous; and shout for joy, all you upright in heart.

Though the fig tree shall not blossom, and fruit is not on the vines; the work of the olive fails, and the fields yield no food; the flock is cut off from the fold, and no herd is in the stalls,

yet I will exult in Jehovah; I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.

and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say, rejoice!
