He has put his hand on the rock; He has overturned the mountains by the roots.

Therefore we will not fear when the earth changes, when mountains are slipping into the midst of the seas.

Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split,

And there will be great earthquakes from place to place, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from Heaven.

And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men came to be on the earth.

And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
