So Satan went out from the presence of Jehovah, and struck Job with malignant inflammation from the sole of his foot to the top of his head.

And he took a potsherd with which to scrape himself; and he sat down in the middle of the ashes.

Your arrogance is brought down to Sheol, and the noise of your lutes. The maggot is spread under you, and the worms cover you.

And immediately an angel of the Lord struck him, because he did not give glory to God. And he was eaten by worms and died.

yet You will plunge me into the pit, and my own clothes would abhor me.

And they shall go out and observe the dead corpses of the men who have rebelled against Me. For their worm does not die, nor is their fire quenched; and they shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.

And there you shall remember your ways and all your evil deeds with which you were defiled; and you shall loathe yourselves in your own sight because of all the evils that you have done.
