Behold, this we have searched out; it is true. Hear and know it for yourself.

Behold, I waited for your speech, I listened to your reasonings, while you searched out words.

They have been dismayed and answer no more; they have left off speaking.

But please, Job, hear my speech, and listen to all my words.

Pay attention, Job, listen to me; be silent, and I will speak.

If not, listen to me; be silent, and I will teach you wisdom.

teach me what I do not see; if I have done injustice, I will do no more?

I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye.

Give to a wise one, and he will become wiser; teach a just one, and he will increase in learning.

As a ring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover to an attentive ear.
