Can a man be of use to the Mighty God, as he who is wise may be profitable to himself?

Is it any pleasure to the Almighty that you are righteous? Or is it gain to Him that you make your ways perfect?

If you are righteous, what do you give Him? Or what does He receive from your hand?

For You go before him with the blessings of goodness; You set a crown of pure gold upon his head.

Or who has first given to Him and it shall be repaid to him?

Now therefore, if you will listen to obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine.

Behold, the heavens and the Heaven of the heavens, and also the earth with all that is in it, belong to Jehovah your God.

Yours, O Jehovah, is the greatness, the power and the glory, the victory and the majesty; for all that is in the heavens and on earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O Jehovah, and You are exalted as head over all.

Now therefore, our God, we are giving thanks to You and praising Your glorious name.
