He has encircled a boundary for the face of the waters at the edge of light and darkness.

Then God said, Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear: thus.

And God called the dry land, Earth; and the gathering together of the waters He called, Seas. And God saw that it was good.

and I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.

You have set a boundary that they may not pass over, that they may not return to cover the earth.
