Teach us what we should say to Him, for we can not set our case in order in the face of darkness.

Can you search and find out God? Can you find out the limits of the Almighty?

Lo, these are the extremities of His ways; yea, what a whisper of a word has been heard of Him! But the thunder of His might who can understand?

Behold, the Mighty God is great, and we cannot find Him out; nor can the number of His years be searched out.

I have not learned wisdom, nor the knowledge of the Holy One.

Who has gone up into Heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son's name? Surely you know.

He has made everything beautiful in its time; also He has set eternity in their hearts, so that no man can find out the work that God has made from the beginning to the end.

All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.

Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!

who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and eternal power. Amen.

He is wise in heart and mighty in strength. Who has hardened himself against Him and been at peace?

If it is a matter of strength, indeed He is strong; and if of justice, who will appoint my meeting?

With Him are wisdom and strength, He has counsel and understanding.

Behold, the Mighty God is great, and refuses no one; He is mighty in strength and heart.

God has spoken once, twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God.

The mountains are established by Your strength, girded with might,

Say unto God, How awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies cower before You.

Jehovah reigns, He is clothed with majesty; Jehovah is clothed, He has girded Himself with strength. The world also is established, so that it cannot be shaken.

The King's strength also loves justice; You have established equity; You have executed justice and righteousness in Jacob.

who made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them; who keeps truth forever,

who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. Jehovah lets loose the prisoners.

Declare and approach; yea, let them take counsel together. Who has declared this from antiquity? Who has told it since then? Is it not I, Jehovah. And there is no other God besides Me; a just Mighty God and a Savior; there is no one besides Me.

And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Your mercy, O Jehovah, is in the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.

How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! And the sons of men take refuge under the shadow of Your wings.

But now He has exhausted me; you have devastated my company.

He tears me in His wrath, and hates me; He gnashes at me with His teeth; my adversary sharpens His eyes at me.

The Mighty God has delivered me to the perverse, and turned me over into the hands of the wicked.

His archers surround me; He pierces my heart and does not pity; He pours out my gall on the ground.

I have sewn sackcloth over my skin, and have thrust my horn into the dust.

although no violence is in my hands, and my prayer is pure.

For His anger is but for a moment; in His favor is life. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

for though He causes grief, yet He will have compassion according to the multitude of His kindness.

For He does not wish to afflict nor grieve the sons of men;

For they indeed for a few days disciplined us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness.
