Now a word was brought to me by stealth, and my ear received a whisper of it.

fear and trembling befell me, which made all my bones dread.

It stood still, but I could not discern its appearance. A form was before my eyes in silence; then I heard a voice saying:

Behold He puts no trust in His servants, and He charges His angels with error;

They are crushed from morning till evening; they perish forever, with no one regarding.

then He opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction.

who teaches us more than the beasts of the earth, and makes us wiser than the birds of the heavens?

Who has put wisdom in the inward parts? Or who has given understanding to the mind?

And Pharaoh said to Joseph, Inasmuch as God has made all this known to you, there is no one as discerning and wise as you.

behold, I have done according to your words; behold, I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has not been anyone like you before you, nor shall any like you arise after you.

And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had rendered, and they feared his presence; for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him to execute justice.

And God gave Solomon wisdom and exceedingly great understanding, and breadth of heart like the sand on the seashore.

For Jehovah gives wisdom; out of His mouth come knowledge and understanding.

For God gives wisdom, and knowledge, and joy to a man who is good in His sight. But to the sinner He gives labor, to collect and gather, that he may give to him who is good before God. This also is vanity and striving of spirit.

As for these four boys, God gave them knowledge and skill in all literature and wisdom. And Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings, and sets up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise, and knowledge to those who have understanding.

But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that are freely given to us by God.

for to one is given a word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another a word of knowledge through the same Spirit,

All Scripture is breathed by God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
