For that would be wickedness; yea, it would be perversity deserving of judgment.

For though I had been righteous, I could not answer Him; I would beg mercy of my Judge.

There the upright could reason with Him, and I would be delivered forever from my Judge.

Far be it from You to do such a thing, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be as the wicked; far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were set forth to this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny the only Lord God, even our Lord Jesus Christ.
