My circle of friends have abhorred me, and those whom I have loved have turned against me.

Therefore I despise myself, and have repented in dust and ashes.

You have removed my acquaintances far from me; You have made me an abomination to them; I am shut up, and I cannot go out;

I also cut off three shepherds in one month. And My soul loathed them, and their soul also abhorred Me.

He has removed my brothers far from me, and my acquaintances are completely estranged from me.

My relatives have left, and my close friends have forgotten me.

You have removed my acquaintances far from me; You have made me an abomination to them; I am shut up, and I cannot go out;

All the brothers of the poor man hate him; how much more do his friends go far from him? He pursues them with words, yet they are nowhere to be found.

But all this is happening that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook Him and fled.

And Jehovah said to Moses, If her father had but spat in her face, would she not be ashamed seven days? Let her be shut out of the camp seven days, and afterward she shall be brought in.
