You correct a man for iniquity with rebukes, and you make his desires vanish away like a moth. Surely every man is vanity. Selah.

At Your rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a deep sleep.

It is burned with fire, it is cut down; they perish at the rebuke of Your face.

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.

Am I a sea, or a sea serpent, that You set a guard over me?

If it is a matter of strength, indeed He is strong; and if of justice, who will appoint my meeting?

For He is not a man, as I am, that I may answer Him, and that we should come together in judgment.

And do You open Your eyes on such a one, and bring me into judgment with Yourself?

Oh, that one might plead for a man with God, as a man pleads for the son of his friend!

Would He contend with me in His great power? No! But He would set me in place.

There the upright could reason with Him, and I would be delivered forever from my Judge.

For He does not lay more upon man, that he should go before the Mighty God in judgment.

If You, YAH, should keep remembering iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?

But there is forgiveness with You, that You may be feared.

Do not enter into judgment with Your servant, for in Your sight no one living is just.

For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil.

Jehovah will enter into judgment with the elders of His people, and their rulers. For you have eaten up the vineyard, the plunder of the poor is in your houses.

What do you mean that you crush My people, and grind the faces of the poor? says the Lord Jehovah of Hosts.
