If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in good, and their years in pleasures.

For there are no bonds in their death; but their belly is fat.

For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,

and did not realize until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry.

But God said to him, Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have prepared?

Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;

but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.
