or to a man whose way is concealed, whom God has covered?

You have removed my acquaintances far from me; You have made me an abomination to them; I am shut up, and I cannot go out;

He has fenced me in and I cannot go out; He has made my bronze chain heavy.

He walled up my ways with hewn stone; my paths are crooked.

Therefore, behold, I will hedge up your way with thorns, and I will close off her wall, so that she shall not find her paths.

And they cried out unto Jehovah; and He put darkness between you and the Egyptians, brought the sea upon them, and covered them. And your eyes saw what I have done in Egypt. And you dwelt in the wilderness many days.

The way of the wicked is as darkness; they do not know at what they stumble.

Who among you fears Jehovah? Who obeys the voice of His Servant? Who walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of Jehovah and rest on his God.

Give glory to Jehovah your God, before He causes darkness, and before your feet stumble on the dark mountains, and, while you are looking for light, He turns it into the shadow of death, and makes it gross darkness.

So their way shall be to them as slippery ways in the darkness; they shall be driven on, and fall in them; for I will bring evil upon them, even the year of their punishment, says Jehovah.

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the Light of Life.
