If I am exalted, You hunt me like a lion, and return to show Yourself wondrously to me.

His archers surround me; He pierces my heart and does not pity; He pours out my gall on the ground.

He breaks me with break upon break; He runs at me like a mighty man.

For they have persecuted the ones whom You have stricken, and they talk to the grief of those You pierced.

But stretch out Your hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse You to Your face!

if the men of my tent have not said, who is there that is not satisfied with his flesh?

But I will put it into the hand of those who afflict you, who have said to your soul, Bow down so that we may pass over; and lay your back on the ground, even as the street, for those who cross over.

who also eat the flesh of My people, and flay their skin off from them; and they break their bones and chop them in pieces as for the pot, and as flesh in the kettle.
