Is not your wickedness great, and your iniquities without end?

If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god,

shall not God search this out? For He knows the secrets of the heart.

And if they are bound in fetters, caught in cords of affliction,

then He declares to them their work and their transgressions; that they have acted proudly.

Search me, O Mighty God, and know my heart; try me, and know my anxieties;
