although You know that I am not wicked, and there is no one who can rescue out of Your hand?

If I am guilty, why then do I labor in vain?

Let my enemy be like the wicked, and he who rises up against me like the unrighteous.

The wicked shall be turned away into Sheol, all the nations that forget God.

Woe to the wicked! For the evil, the recompense of his hand, shall be done unto him.

Then I said, Woe is me! for I am undone! for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, Jehovah of Hosts.

Then you shall again distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, between him who serves God and him who does not serve Him.

but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness; anger and wrath,

trouble and anguish, on every soul of man who produces evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek;

If He takes away, who can repulse Him? Who can say to Him, What are You doing?

For though I had been righteous, I could not answer Him; I would beg mercy of my Judge.

Though I were righteous, my own mouth would condemn me; though I were perfect, it would prove me perverse.

Though I were perfect, yet I do not know my soul; I despise my life.

You meet him who rejoices and works righteousness, those who remember You in Your ways (Behold, You were angry, for we sinned continually), and we shall be saved.

But we are all like an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are like a menstruation cloth. And we all fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say, We are unprofitable servants. We have done what was our duty to do.

Even when I remember I am terrified, and trembling takes hold of my flesh.

Therefore I am terrified at His presence; when I consider this, I am in dread of Him.

And Jehovah said: I have given attention to see the affliction of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I have acknowledged their pain.

Look upon my affliction and my pain, and forgive all my sins.

RESH: Look upon my affliction and rescue me, for I do not forget Your Law.

Behold, O Jehovah, for I am in distress; my stomach is upset; my heart churns within me, for I have grievously rebelled. Outside the sword bereaves; at home it is like death.

Remember, O Jehovah, what has come upon us; look down and behold our reproach.

We are orphans and fatherless; our mothers are as widows.

We are pursued on our necks; we labor and have no rest.

Our fathers have sinned and are no more; but we have borne their iniquities.

We bring in our bread at the risk of our lives, because of the sword of the wilderness.

They raped the women in Zion, virgins in the cities of Judah.

They took the young men to grind, and the youths stumbled under loads of wood.

The joy of our heart has ceased; our dance has turned into mourning.

Our heart is faint because of this; our eyes are dim because of these things.

You, O Jehovah, remain forever; Your throne from generation to generation.

Turn us back to You, O Jehovah, and we will repent; renew our days as of old,
