All the king's servants and the people of the king's provinces know that any man or woman who goes into the inner court to the king, who has not been summoned, has but one law: to put all to death, except the one to whom the king holds out the golden scepter, that he may live. Furthermore, I have not been called to go in to the king these thirty days.

And the young man did not delay to do the thing, because he delighted in Jacob's daughter. He was more honorable than all the house of his father.

And it shall be, if you have no delight in her, then you shall set her free, but you certainly shall not sell her for money; you shall not treat her as a slave, because you have humbled her.

You shall no more be called Forsaken; nor shall your land any more be called Desolate; but you shall be called My Delight Is In Her, and your land, Married; for Jehovah delights in you, and your land is married.

For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you; and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so will your God rejoice over you.

But now thus says Jehovah who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel; Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine.

For Jacob My servant's sake, and Israel My elect, I have even proclaimed your name; I have entitled you, though you have not known Me.
