Prepare yourselves according to your fathers' houses, according to your divisions, according to the writings of David king of Israel and the writings of Solomon his son.

And stand in the holy place according to the divisions of the fathers' houses of your brethren, the sons of the people, and according to the division of the father's house of the Levites.

They stood in their place according to the ordinance, according to the Law of Moses the man of God; the priests were sprinkling the blood from the hand of the Levites.

They assigned the priests to their divisions and the Levites to their divisions, over the service of God in Jerusalem, as it is written in the book of Moses.
