And Shaphan the scribe came to the king and brought back word to the king, saying, Your servants have gathered the money found in the house, and have delivered it into the hand of those who are doing the work, who oversee the house of Jehovah.

And Shaphan the scribe reported to the king, saying, Hilkiah the priest has given me a book. And Shaphan read it before the king.

And they went in to the king, into the court. But they laid up the scroll in the room of Elishama the scribe, and told all the words in the ears of the king.

So the king sent Jehudi to bring the scroll. And he took it out of the room of Elishama the scribe. And Jehudi read it in the ears of the king, and in the ears of all the rulers who stood beside the king.
