And he assigned commanders of war over the people, gathered them together to him in the open place of the city gate, and spoke to their heart, saying,

After them Zadok the son of Immer made repairs in front of his own house. After him Shemaiah the son of Shechaniah, the keeper of the East Gate, made repairs.

And go out to the valley of the son of Hinnom which is by the entry of Potsherd Gate. And there proclaim the words that I shall tell you.
