Jehovah will cause you to be stricken before your enemies; you shall go out one way against them and flee seven ways before them; and you shall be an object of terror to all the kingdoms of the earth.

You shall beget sons and daughters, but they shall not be yours; for they shall go into captivity.

Thus says Jehovah: You shall not go up or fight against your brethren. Let every man return to his house, for this thing has come about from Me. And they obeyed the words of Jehovah, and turned back from going against Jeroboam.

And the next day he appeared to two of them as they were fighting, and urged them to peace, saying, Men, you are brethren; why do you wrong one another?
