Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and last, are they not written in the book of Nathan the prophet, in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the visions of Iddo the seer concerning Jeroboam the son of Nebat.

Then Shemaiah the prophet came to Rehoboam and the rulers of Judah, who were gathered together in Jerusalem because of Shishak, and said to them, Thus says Jehovah: You have forsaken Me, and therefore I also have forsaken you to the hand of Shishak.

But the Word of God came to Shemaiah the man of God, saying,

Now the rest of the acts of Abijah, his ways, and his sayings are written in the midrash of the prophet Iddo.
