And Jehovah spoke to Gad, David's seer, saying,

(Formerly in Israel, when a man went to inquire of God, he spoke thus: Come, let us go to the seer; for he who is now called a prophet was formerly called a seer.)

And of all my sons (for Jehovah has given me many sons) He has chosen my son Solomon to sit on the throne of the kingdom of Jehovah, over Israel.

And he lifted up his eyes and saw the women and children, and said, Who are these with you? And he said, The children whom God has graciously given your servant.

Behold, children are a heritage from Jehovah, the fruit of the womb is a reward.

Behold, I and the children whom Jehovah has given me, are for signs and for wonders in Israel, from Jehovah of Hosts who dwells in Mount Zion.
