And it happened, when the king of Israel read the letter, that he tore his clothes and said, Am I God, to kill and make alive, that this man sends a man to me to take away his leprosy? Therefore please consider, and see how he seeks a quarrel with me.

And David said to Joab and to all the people who were with him, Tear your clothes, gird yourselves with sackcloth, and mourn for Abner. And King David walked behind the coffin.

And she said to her mistress, If only my master were with the prophet who is in Samaria! For he would take away his leprosy.

And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came and stood before him; and he said, Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, except in Israel; now therefore, please take a gift from your servant.

Therefore you shall not come down from the bed upon which you have gone up, but you shall die the death.

Then the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that you are a man of God, and that the Word of Jehovah in your mouth is truth.

And it came to pass, at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near and said, Jehovah the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known this day that You are God in Israel and I am Your servant, and that I have done all these things at Your Word.

Testify, O Jehovah, testify, that this people may know that You are Jehovah God, and that You have turned their hearts around back to You.

And all these your servants shall come down to me and prostrate themselves to me, saying, Get out, you and all the people at your feet! After that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in burning anger.

For I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry,

As for them, whether they hear or whether they forbear; for they are a rebellious house; yet they will know that a prophet has been among them.

And by a prophet Jehovah brought Israel up out of Egypt, and by a prophet he was protected.
