So he prepared a great feast for them; and after they ate and drank, he sent them away and they went to their master. So the marauding bands from Syria came no more into the land of Israel.

And Elisha died, and they buried him. And the raiding bands from Moab invaded the land in the beginning of the year.

So Abimelech and all the people with him rose by night, and lay in wait against Shechem in four companies.

And raiders came out of the camp of the Philistines in three companies. One company turned toward the way to Ophrah, to the land of Shual,

another company turned toward the way to Beth Horon, and another company turned toward the way of the border overlooking the Valley of Zeboim toward the wilderness.

Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes wait upon Jehovah our God, until He shall have mercy upon us.
