This is the way of an adulterous woman: She eats, and wipes her mouth, and says, I have done no wickedness.

So they come to you as people do, they sit before you as My people, and they hear your words, but they do not do them; for with their mouth they act out love, but their hearts go after their unjust gain.

and said, What will you give me, and I will deliver Him to you? And they counted out to him thirty pieces of silver.

So from that time he sought opportunity to betray Him.

And supper being ended, the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray Him,

Jesus answered, It is he to whom I shall give a morsel when I have dipped it. And having dipped the morsel, He gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.

But no one at the table knew for what reason He said this to him.

Having received the morsel, he then went out immediately. And it was night.

Then Isaiah the prophet came to King Hezekiah, and said to him, What did these men say, and from where did they come to you? So Hezekiah said, They came from a distant land, from Babylon.

And they heard the sound of Jehovah God walking around in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of Jehovah God among the trees of the garden.

And Jehovah God called to the man and said to him, Where are you?

And Jehovah said to Cain, Where is Abel your brother? He said, I do not know. Am I my brother's keeper?

And He said, Hagar, Sarai's maidservant, where have you come from, and where are you going? She said, I am fleeing from the presence of my mistress Sarai.

And he said, All is well. My master has sent me, saying, Behold, just now two young men of the sons of the prophets have come to me from the mountains of Ephraim. Please give them a talent of silver and two changes of garments.

But Peter said, Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the proceeds of the land for yourself?

While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you put this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.
