And he passed through the mountains of Ephraim and through the land of Shalisha, but they did not find them. Then they passed through the land of Shaalim, and they were not there. Then he passed through the land of the Benjamites, but they did not find them.

Then Saul said to his servant, But behold, if we go, what shall we bring the man? For the bread in our vessels is all gone, and there is no present to bring to the man of God. What do we have?

And Elisha returned to Gilgal. Now there was a famine in the land, and the sons of the prophets were sitting before him; and he said to his servant, Put on the large pot, and boil stew for the sons of the prophets.

that you shall take some of the first of all the produce of the ground, which you shall bring from your land that Jehovah your God is giving to you, and put it in a basket and go to the place where Jehovah your God chooses to establish His name.

And the priest shall take the basket out of your hand and set it down before the altar of Jehovah your God.

And the Egyptians mistreated us, afflicted us, and laid cruel labor upon us.

And Jehovah brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand and with an outstretched arm, with great terror and with signs and wonders.

And from all their territories the priests and the Levites who were in all Israel stood with him.

For the Levites left their common lands and their possessions and came to Judah and Jerusalem, for Jeroboam and his sons had rejected them from serving as priests unto Jehovah.

Honor Jehovah with your substance, and with the firstfruits of all your increase,

and your barns shall be filled with plenty, and your vats shall be bursting with new wine.

If we have sown spiritual things to you, is it a great thing if we reap your material things?

Let him being taught the Word share in all good things with him who teaches.

Then Elisha said, Hear the Word of Jehovah. Thus says Jehovah: Tomorrow about this time a seah of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria.

Then the people went out and plundered the camp of the Syrians. And a seah of fine flour was sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, according to the Word of Jehovah.

So it happened just as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, Two seahs of barley for a shekel, and a seah of fine flour for a shekel, shall be sold tomorrow about this time in the gate of Samaria.

a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey;

butter from the cattle, and milk of the flock, with fat of lambs; and rams of the sons of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of wheat; and you drank wine, the blood of the grapes.

There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish; but what are they among so many?

Therefore they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten.
