And Jehovah visited Sarah as He had said, and Jehovah did for Sarah as He had spoken.

And they arose early in the morning and bowed down before Jehovah, and returned and came to their house at Ramah. And Elkanah knew Hannah his wife, and Jehovah remembered her.

So it came to pass in the process of time that Hannah conceived and bore a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked for him from Jehovah.

He causes the barren to dwell in a house, like a joyful mother of children. Praise YAH!

Now after those days his wife Elizabeth conceived; and she hid herself five months, saying,

Thus the Lord has done with me, in the days when He looked on me, to take away my reproach among people.

Now behold, Elizabeth your kinswoman has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren.

By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.
