Behold, I will send a spirit upon him, and he shall hear a rumor and return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.

Because your rage against Me and your arrogance have come up into My ears, therefore I will put my hook in your nose and My bridle in your lips, and I will turn you back by the way which you have come.

By the way that he came, by the same shall he return; and he shall not come into this city, says Jehovah.

From that land he went forth to Assyria and built Nineveh, the city of Rehoboth and Calah,

and Resen between Nineveh and Calah, which was a large city.

Arise, go to Nineveh, the great city, and cry out against it; for their evil has come up before Me.

And Nineveh of old is like a pool of water; yet they are fleeing. They cry, Halt! Halt! But no one turns back.

The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and behold one greater than Jonah is here.
