He made houses on the high places, and made priests from among all the people, who were not of the sons of Levi.
And he cried out against the altar by the Word of Jehovah, and said, O altar, altar! Thus says Jehovah: Behold, a son, Josiah by name, shall be born to the house of David; and on you he shall sacrifice the priests of the high places who burn incense on you, and men's bones shall be burned on you.
And he appointed for himself priests for the high places, for the satyrs, and the calves which he had made.
