So they went up and spied out the land from the wilderness of Zin as far as Rehob, near the entrance of Hamath.

And this shall be your northern border: From the Great Sea you shall mark out to Mount Hor;

from Mount Hor you shall mark out to the entrance of Hamath; and the extremity of the border shall be toward Zedad;

Hamath, Berothah, Sibraim (which is between the border of Damascus and the border of Hamath), to Hazar Hatticon (which is on the border of Hauran).

And on the east side you shall mark out the border from between Hauran and Damascus, and between Gilead and the land of Israel, along the Jordan, and to the Eastern Sea. This is the east side.

For, behold, I will raise up a nation against you, O house of Israel, declares Jehovah, the God of Hosts. And they shall oppress you from the entrance of Hamath to the valley of the wilderness.

All these joined together in the Valley of Siddim (which is the Salt Sea).

the plain also, with the Jordan as the border, from Chinnereth as far as the east side of the sea of the plain (the Salt Sea), below the slopes of Pisgah.
