Take diligent heed to your souls, for you saw no form on the day Jehovah spoke to you at Horeb out of the midst of the fire,

Take heed to yourselves, that you not forget the covenant of Jehovah your God which He has made with you, and make for yourselves a carved image in the form of anything which Jehovah your God has forbidden you.

that Jehovah may establish His word which He has spoken concerning me, saying, If your sons take heed to their way, to walk before Me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, He said, there shall not fail to be a man on the throne of Israel.

BETH: How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your Word.

Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life.

Therefore we need to more abundantly heed the things we have heard, so that they do not slip our minds.

watching carefully that no one fall short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and through this many become defiled;

You shall walk in all the ways which Jehovah your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.

And now, Israel, what is Jehovah your God asking of you, but to fear Jehovah your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul,

and to keep the commandments of Jehovah and His statutes which I am commanding you today for your good.

Therefore, O Jehovah, God of Israel, now keep what You have spoken to Your servant David my father, saying, You shall not fail to have a man sitting before Me on the throne of Israel, only if your sons take heed to their way, to walk in My Law as you have walked before Me.

these joined with their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse and an oath to walk in God's Law, which was given by the hand of Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of Jehovah our Lord, and His ordinances and His statutes:

They did not keep the Covenant of God; they refused to walk in His Law,

And I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you shall keep My judgments and do them.

We have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God, to walk in His laws which he set before us by His servants the prophets.

However Jehu did not turn away from after the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who had made Israel sin, that is, from the golden calves that were at Bethel and Dan.

Nevertheless he clung to the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who had made Israel sin; he did not depart from them.

And He will give Israel up because of the sins of Jeroboam, who has sinned and has made Israel sin.
