You shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the Testimony that I will give you.

And I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you have broken; and you shall put them in the ark.

Nothing was in the ark except the two tablets which Moses had put there at Horeb, when Jehovah had made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt.

And Moses said to Aaron, Take a pot and put an omer full of manna in it, and lay it up before Jehovah, to be kept for your generations.

And Jehovah said to Moses, Bring Aaron's staff back before the Testimony, to be kept as a sign against the rebels, that you may put their murmurings away from Me, that they not die.

which had the golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which were the golden pot that had the manna, Aaron's staff that budded, and the tablets of the covenant;

You shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the Testimony that I will give you.

And he took the Testimony and put it into the ark, inserted the poles through the rings of the ark, and put the mercy seat on the ark from above.

And I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you have broken; and you shall put them in the ark.

And I turned and came down from the mountain, and put the tablets in the ark which I had made; and there they are, as Jehovah had commanded me.

Take this Book of the Law, and put it inside the ark of the covenant of Jehovah your God, to be there as a witness against you;

And there I have fixed a place for the ark, in which is the covenant of Jehovah which He had made with our fathers, when He brought them out from the land of Egypt.

And Moses took the blood, sprinkled it on the people, and said, This is the blood of the covenant which Jehovah has made with you according to all these words.

And Jehovah said to Moses, Write these words; according to these words at My mouth, I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.

And he was there with Jehovah forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water. And He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.

Thus He declared to you His covenant which He commanded you to do, the Ten Commandments; and He wrote them on two tablets of stone.

And Jehovah went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to shine on them, to go by day and night.

And it came to pass in the morning watch, that Jehovah looked down upon the camp of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and cloud, and He confused the camp of the Egyptians.

And it came to pass, as Aaron spoke to the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they turned and looked toward the wilderness, and behold, the glory of Jehovah appeared in the cloud.

And the glory of Jehovah settled down upon Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day He summoned Moses out of the midst of the cloud.

And Moses went into the midst of the cloud and went up into the mountain. And Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.

And the cloud covered over the tent of meeting, and the glory of Jehovah filled the tabernacle.

And Moses was not able to enter the tent of meeting, because the cloud had settled down upon it, and the glory of Jehovah filled the tabernacle.

and Jehovah said to Moses: Speak to Aaron your brother that he not come at all times into the Holy Place inside the veil, before the mercy seat which is on the ark, that he not die; for I will appear in the cloud above the mercy seat.

And on the day that the tabernacle was raised up, the cloud covered the tabernacle, the tent of the Testimony; from evening until morning it was above the tabernacle like the appearance of fire.

and those sounding the trumpets and those singing were as one, with one sound to be heard in praising and thanking Jehovah, to raise their voices with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of song, to praise Jehovah, saying: For He is good, for His mercy is eternal; that the house, the house of Jehovah, was filled with a cloud,

so that the priests could not remain standing to serve before the cloud; for the glory of Jehovah had filled the house of God.

And when Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from the heavens and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of Jehovah filled the house.

When all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of Jehovah upon the house, they bowed their faces to the ground on the pavement, and prostrated themselves and gave thanks unto Jehovah, saying: For He is good, for His mercy is eternal.

Then the glory of Jehovah went up from the cherub, and paused over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the glory of Jehovah.

And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power, and no one was able to enter the temple till the seven plagues of the seven angels would be completed.
