On the twenty-third day of the seventh month he sent the people away to their tents, joyful and glad of heart for the good that Jehovah had done to David, to Solomon, and to His people Israel.

Now when all this was finished, all Israel who were present went out to the cities of Judah and broke the sacred pillars in pieces, chopped down the groves, and threw down the high places and the altars; from all Judah, Benjamin, Ephraim, and Manasseh; until they had utterly destroyed them all. Then all the children of Israel returned to their own cities, each to his possession.

Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the chief fathers of the children of Israel, unto King Solomon at Jerusalem, that they might bring up the ark of the covenant of Jehovah out of the City of David, which is Zion.

yet when they have returned in their minds in the land where they have been carried captive, and have repented in their hearts, and made supplication to You in the land of those holding them captive, saying, We have sinned and done perversely, we have committed wickedness;

And there you shall eat before Jehovah your God, and you shall rejoice in all to which you have put your hand, you and your households, in which Jehovah your God has blessed you.

And you shall rejoice before Jehovah your God, you and your sons and your daughters, your male and female servants, and the Levite who is within your gates, since he has no portion nor inheritance with you.

But you shall eat them before Jehovah your God in the place which Jehovah your God chooses, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant, and the Levite who is within your gates; and you shall rejoice before Jehovah your God in all to which you put your hands.

You shall rejoice before Jehovah your God, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant, the Levite who is within your gates, the sojourner and the fatherless and the widow who are among you, at the place where Jehovah your God chooses to establish His name.

And Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced that God had prepared the people, since the thing came about suddenly.

So there was great joy in Jerusalem, for since the days of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel, there had been nothing like this in Jerusalem.

Then the priests, the Levites, rose up and blessed the people, and their voice was heard; and their prayer came up to His holy dwelling place, to the heavens.

Then he said to them, Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of Jehovah is your refuge.

Oh come, let us sing unto Jehovah! Let us shout joyfully unto the Rock of our salvation.

Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.

Serve Jehovah with gladness; come before His presence with joyful voice.

Remember me, O Jehovah, with the favor of Your people; O visit me with Your salvation,

that I may see the good of Your elect, that I may rejoice in the gladness of Your nation, that I may glory with Your inheritance.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; may they prosper who love you.

Because of the house of Jehovah our God I will seek your good.

And their seed shall be known among the nations, and their offspring among the people; all who see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed Jehovah has blessed.

I will greatly rejoice in Jehovah, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He has clothed me with the garment of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness like a bridegroom adorns himself with ornaments, and like a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you; and you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.

And you shall see, and your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like the grass. And the hand of Jehovah shall be known toward His servants, and His indignation toward His enemies.

Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of Jehovah, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and the herd. And their souls shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not languish any more at all.

And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and My people shall be satisfied with My goodness, says Jehovah.

Cry aloud for joy, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem!

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King comes to you! He is righteous and having salvation, lowly, and riding on an ass, even on a colt, the foal of an ass.

For how great is its goodness, and how great its beauty. Grain shall make the young men flourish, and new wine the virgins.

So continuing day by day with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faith,

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say, rejoice!
