And the servants of the king of Syria said to him, Their gods are gods of the hills. Therefore they were stronger than us; but if we fight against them in the plain, will we not be stronger than them.

And his servants came near and spoke to him, and said, My father, if the prophet had told you to do some great thing, would you not have done it? How much more then, when he says to you, Wash, and be clean?

Mercy and truth preserve the king; and his throne is upheld by goodness.

And in mercy the throne shall be established; and One shall sit on it in truth in the tent of David, judging and seeking swift justice in righteousness.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the remission of sins, according to the riches of His grace

which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and understanding,

So Satan answered Jehovah and said, Skin for skin! Yea, all that a man has he will give for his soul.

And do not fear those who kill the body but are not able to kill the soul. But rather fear Him who has power to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.
