This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him.

This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.

And they said to the woman, Now we believe, not because of what you said, for we ourselves have heard Him and we know that this is truly the Christ, the Savior of the world.

For Jesus Himself testified that a prophet has no honor in his own country.

So Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee where He had made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum.

Then Jesus said to him, Unless you see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe.

And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, that you may believe. Nevertheless let us go to him.

And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the crowd standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.

If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin. But now they have seen and also hated both Me and My Father.

Now we are sure that You know all things, and have no need that anyone should question You. By this we believe that You came forth from God.

The preacher sought to learn acceptable words; written words of uprightness and truth.

For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the Word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the Word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe.

I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that not any lie is of the truth.
