And he said to him, Because you have not obeyed the voice of Jehovah, behold, as soon as you depart from me, a lion shall kill you. And as soon as he left him, a lion found him and killed him.

And he turned around and looked at them, and cursed them in the name of Jehovah. And two bears came out of the forest and ripped apart forty-two of the children.

The sluggard says, There is a lion outside! I shall be killed in the streets!

The sluggard says, There is a lion in the way! A lion is in the streets!

It is as if a man fled before a lion, and a bear met him. Or he goes into the house and leans his hand against the wall, and a snake bites him.

For if we would discern ourselves, we would not be judged.

But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.

For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?

Now if the righteous one is scarcely saved, where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?
