And Abner sent messengers on his behalf to David, saying, Whose is the land? saying also, Make your covenant with me, and behold, my hand shall be with you to bring around all Israel to you.

In Hebron he reigned over Judah seven years and six months, and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty-three years over all Israel and Judah.

The God of Israel has said, the Rock of Israel has spoken to me: He who rules over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God.

And he shall be like the light of the morning when the sun rises, a morning without clouds, like the tender grass springing out of the earth, by clear shining after rain.

Thus David reigned over all Israel, executing judgment and justice to all his people.

Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; the scepter of Your kingdom is a scepter of uprightness.

You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness above Your fellows.

He will judge Your people in righteousness, and Your lowly with justice.

When I choose the appointed time, I will judge with equity.

from following the ewes nursing their young He brought him, to shepherd Jacob His people, and Israel His inheritance.

So he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart, and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.

Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; mercy and truth go before Your face.

I will set nothing wicked before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not cling to me.

Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, I will annihilate; the one who has a haughty look and a proud heart, I will not endure.

He who works deceit shall not dwell within my house; he who tells lies shall not be established in my sight.

Of the increase of His government and peace upon the throne of David there will be no end; and upon His kingdom, to order it and to establish it with judgment and with justice from now on, even forever. The zeal of Jehovah of Hosts will accomplish this.

Shall you reign, because you lust after cedar? Did not your father eat and drink, and do justice and righteousness? Then it was well with him.

He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well with him. Was this not knowledge of Me? says Jehovah.

Behold, the days are coming, says Jehovah, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King who shall reign and act prudently, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the earth.

In His days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely. And this is His name by which He shall be called, JEHOVAH, OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Hate evil, and love good, and establish justice in the gate. It may be that Jehovah, the God of Hosts will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph.

But let justice flow down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.
