that on the third day, behold, a man came from Saul's camp with his clothes torn and earth on his head. So it was, when he came to David, that he fell to the ground and prostrated himself.

And Joshua tore his clothes, and fell to the earth on his face before the ark of Jehovah until evening, he and the elders of Israel; and they threw dust on their heads.

And when they lifted up their eyes from afar, and did not recognize him, they lifted up their voices and wept; and each one tore his robe and sprinkled dust on their heads toward the heavens.

Therefore I despise myself, and have repented in dust and ashes.

Indeed, you shall go out from this place, with your hands on your head. For Jehovah has rejected those in whom you trust, and you will not prosper by them.
