Wait upon Jehovah; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, upon Jehovah!

I have waited for Jehovah, my soul has waited, and in His Word I have hoped.

My soul waits for the Lord more than those who watch for the morning; yea, more than those who watch for the morning.

And I will wait on Jehovah, who hides His face from the house of Jacob; and I will watch for Him.

And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God. We have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is Jehovah; we have waited for Him, we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.

Yea, in the way of Your judgments, O Jehovah, we have waited for You; for the desire of our soul is Your name and the remembrance of You.

And so Jehovah waits to be gracious to you. And therefore He is exalted, that He may have mercy on you; for Jehovah is a God of justice. Blessed are all those who wait for Him.

For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it speaks forth to the end, and it does not lie. Though it delays, wait for it, because it will come and take place; it will not tarry.

Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain.

You also be patient. Make your hearts firm, for the coming of the Lord draws near.

And he waited yet another seven days, and again he sent the dove out from the ark.

And on the seventh day God completed His work which He had made, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made.

And God blessed the seventh day and consecrated it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.
