Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? No one!

What is man, that he should be pure? And he who is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?

how much more abhorrent and corrupt is man, who drinks injustice like water!

How then can man be just before the Mighty God? Or how can one be pure who is born of a woman?

Jehovah looked down from Heaven upon the sons of men, to see if there were any who understood and sought God.

They have all turned aside, together they have become corrupt; there is no one who does good, no, not one.

Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.

And the angel answered and said to her, The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to every person, because everyone sinned.

Not every flesh is the same flesh, but there is one flesh of men, another flesh of animals, another of fish, and another of birds.

among whom also we all formerly conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others;
