And he sent out a raven, which kept going to and fro until the waters had dried up from off the earth.

But the dove found no resting place for the sole of her foot, and she returned into the ark to him, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth. So he put out his hand and took her, and drew her into the ark to himself.

And I will make your seed as the dust of the earth; so that if a man could count the dust of the earth, then your seed also could be numbered.

And I will make your seed multiply as the stars of the heavens; I will give to your seed all these lands; and in your Seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed;

And your seed shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall spread abroad to the west and the east, to the north and the south; and in you and in your Seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.

And He said, I am the Mighty God, the God of your fathers. Do not fear to go down to Egypt, for I will make of you a great nation there.

And the children of Israel were fruitful and increased abundantly, multiplied and grew exceedingly numerous; and the land was filled with them.

But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were in dread of the children of Israel.

Your fathers went down to Egypt with seventy persons, and now Jehovah your God has made you as the stars of the heavens for multitude.

And you shall answer and say before Jehovah your God: My father was an Aramean, about to perish, and he went down to Egypt and sojourned there, few in number; and there he became a nation, great, mighty, and populous.

You also multiplied their children as the stars of the heavens, and brought them into the land which You had commanded their fathers to go in and possess it.

He increased His people greatly, and made them stronger than their enemies.

He also blesses them, and they multiply greatly; and He does not let their cattle decrease.

I will whistle for them and gather them, for I have redeemed them. And they shall multiply as they once multiplied.

But when the time of the promise drew near which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt
