And the cupbearer and the baker of the king of Egypt, who were confined in the prison, had a dream, both of them, each man's dream in one night and each man's dream with its own interpretation.

And Joseph came in to them in the morning and looked at them, and behold they appeared to be troubled.
7
So he asked Pharaoh's officers who were with him in the custody of his lord's house, saying, Why are your faces sad today?

And they said to him, We each have had a dream, and there is no interpreter. So Joseph said to them, Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell them to me, please.

11
And Pharaoh's cup was in my hand; and I took the grapes and pressed them into Pharaoh's cup, and put the cup into Pharaoh's hand.
12
And Joseph said to him, This is the interpretation: The three branches are three days.
13
Yet within three days Pharaoh will lift up your head and restore you to your place, and you shall put Pharaoh's cup into his hand according to the former custom, when you were his cupbearer.

16
And Joseph said, Give your livestock, and I will give you bread for your livestock, if the money has failed.
17
So they brought their livestock to Joseph, and Joseph gave them bread in exchange for the horses, the flocks, the cattle of the herds, and for the donkeys. Thus he fed them with bread in exchange for all their livestock that year.
18
When that year had ended, they came to him the next year and said to him, We will not hide from my lord that our money is gone; my lord also has our cattle and livestock. Nothing remains before my lord but our bodies and our lands.
19
Why should we die before your eyes, both we and our land? Buy us and our land for bread, and we and our land will be servants of Pharaoh; give us seed, that we may live and not die, that the land not be desolate.

22
Only the land of the priests he did not buy; for the priests had portions prescribed to them by Pharaoh, and they ate their portions which Pharaoh gave them; therefore they did not sell their lands.
23
Then Joseph said to the people, Behold, I have bought you and your land this day for Pharaoh. Behold, here is seed for you, and you shall sow the land.
24
And it shall come to pass in the harvest that you shall give one-fifth to Pharaoh; and four-fifths shall be your own, as seed for the field and for your food, for those of your houses and as food for your little ones.
25
And they said, You have saved our lives; let us find favor in the eyes of my lord, and we will be Pharaoh's servants.
