Now you are commanded; do this: Take wagons out of the land of Egypt for your little ones and your wives; bring your father and come.

But when they told him all the words which Joseph had spoken to them, and when he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob their father revived.

And Jacob arose from Beer-sheba; and the sons of Israel carried their father Jacob, their little ones, and their wives, in the wagons which Pharaoh had sent to carry him.

And they brought their offering before Jehovah, six covered carts and twelve oxen, a cart for every two of the leaders, and for each one an ox; and they presented them before the tabernacle.

Receive it from them, that they may be used in doing the service of the tent of meeting; and you shall give them to the Levites, to every man according to his service.

Two carts and four oxen he gave to the sons of Gershon, according to their service;

But to the sons of Kohath he gave none, because theirs was the service of the holy things, which they carried on their shoulders.

And they shall come against you with chariots, wagons, and wheels, with a company of people. They shall array against you buckler, shield, and helmet all around. I will entrust judgment to them, and they shall judge you according to their judgments.

Now you are commanded; do this: Take wagons out of the land of Egypt for your little ones and your wives; bring your father and come.

And all the congregation of the children of Israel set out on their journey from the Wilderness of Sin, at the mouth of Jehovah, and camped in Rephidim; and there was no water for the people to drink.

So Moses numbered them at the mouth of Jehovah, as he had been commanded.

according to the matter of each day, offering according to the commandment of Moses, for the Sabbaths, the new moons, and the three appointed yearly feasts; the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks, and the Feast of Booths.

Thus all the service of Jehovah was prepared the same day, to keep the Passover and to offer burnt offerings on the altar of Jehovah, according to the command of King Josiah.

I say, Keep the king's edict, because of the oath of God.

Jehovah is righteous, for I have rebelled against His command. I beseech you, all peoples, hear and behold my sorrow. My virgins and my young men have gone into captivity.
