But he refused and said to his master's wife, Behold, my master does not know what is with me in the house, and he has entrusted all that he has into my hand.

to deliver you from the strange woman, from the foreigner who flatters with her words,

For the lips of a strange woman drip honey, and her mouth is smoother than oil,

Do not lust after her beauty in your heart, and do not let her captivate you with her eyelids.

For on account of a promiscuous woman, a man comes to a loaf of bread; for the man's wife hunts for the precious soul.

that they may keep you from the strange woman, from the foreigner who makes smooth her words.

So she has seized him and kissed him; and with straight face says to him,

And she sits at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city,

Whoever is simple, let him turn in here; and to the one lacking heart, she says to him:

The mouth of strange women is a deep pit; those abhorred by Jehovah shall fall there.

For a harlot is a deep pit, and a foreign woman is a narrow well.

My son, do not walk in the way with them! Withhold your foot from their path;

Remove your ways far from her, and do not come near the door of her house,

Flee sexual perversion. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.

Do not be led astray: Evil company corrupts good character.

Abstain from every form of evil.

Therefore I desire that the younger widows marry, bear children, manage the house, give no opportunity to the adversary for reproach.

But flee youthful lusts; and pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

Beloved, I beg you as foreigners and sojourners, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul,
