These men are peaceable with us. Therefore let them dwell in the land and trade in it. For indeed the land is wide of hands before them. Let us take their daughters to us as wives, and let us give our daughters to them.

Shall not their livestock, their property, and every animal of theirs be ours? Only let us consent to them, and they will dwell with us.

Is not the whole land before you? Please separate from me. If you take the left, then I will go to the right; or, if you go to the right, then I will go to the left.

And Abimelech said, Behold, my land is before you; dwell where it pleases you.

And bring your youngest brother to me; so I shall know that you are not spies, but that you are honest. I will give your brother to you, and you may trade in the land.

And Israel remained in the land of Egypt, in the land of Goshen; and they settled on property they owned there and grew and multiplied exceedingly.
