And he lodged there that night, and took what came to his hand as a present for Esau his brother:

thirty milk camels with their colts, forty cows and ten bulls, twenty female donkeys and ten foals.

And he commanded the first one, saying, When Esau my brother meets you and asks you, saying, To whom do you belong, and where are you going? Whose are these before you?

And he commanded the second, the third, and all who followed the droves, saying, You shall speak these words to Esau when you find him;

She answered, Give me a blessing; since you have given me land in the south, give me also springs of water. So he gave her the upper springs and the lower springs.

And she said to him, Give me a blessing; since you have given me land in the south, give me also springs of water. And Caleb gave her the upper springs and the lower springs.

And now this blessing which your handmaid has brought to my lord, let it be given to the young men who travel on foot with my lord.

And when David came to Ziklag, he sent some of the spoils to the elders of Judah, to his friends, saying, Here is a present for you from the spoils of the enemies of Jehovah;

And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came and stood before him; and he said, Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, except in Israel; now therefore, please take a gift from your servant.

Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren to go to you ahead of time, and prepare your bounty beforehand, which you had previously announced, that it may be ready as a blessing and not as greed.

But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

And Esau said, I have abundance, my brother; keep what you have to yourself.

Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content.

I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in everything I am taught both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to lack.

Indeed I have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God.

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours:

as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in everything I am taught both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to lack.

For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.

And when they pressed him till he was ashamed, he said, Send! So they sent fifty men, and they searched for three days but did not find him.

But he said, As Jehovah lives, before whom I stand, I shall take nothing. And he pressed him to take it, but he refused.

And Naaman said, Please, take two talents. And he urged him, and bound two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of garments, and handed them to two of his servants; and they carried them before him.

Then the master said to the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, so that my house may be filled.
