And Sarai, Abram's wife, took Hagar her maidservant, the Egyptian, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan.

Therefore she said to Abraham, Drive away this maidservant and her son; for the son of this maidservant shall not inherit with my son, with Isaac.

And his concubine, whose name was Reumah, also bore Tebah, Gaham, Thahash, and Maachah.

Then Abraham again took a wife, and her name was Keturah.

But Abraham gave gifts to the sons of the concubines which Abraham had; and while he was still living he sent them eastward, away from Isaac his son, to the lands to the east.

And he put the maidservants and their children in front, Leah and her children behind, and Rachel and Joseph last.

And it happened, when Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father's concubine; and Israel heard about it. Now the sons of Jacob were twelve:

Thus says Jehovah: Behold, I will raise up evil against you from your own house; and I will take your wives before your eyes and give them to your neighbor, and he shall lie with your wives in the eyes of the sun.
