And Jehovah sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and many of the people of Israel died.

Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against Jehovah and against you; intercede before Jehovah that He take away the serpents from us. So Moses interceded for the people.

And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out from there. Even if they hide from My eyes in the bottom of the sea, from there I will command the serpent, and he will bite them.

they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will be well.

Behold, I give you authority to tread over serpents and scorpions, and upon all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

But when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and laid them on the fire, a viper came out because of the heat, and fastened on his hand.

But he shook off the creature into the fire and suffered no harm.

Their throat is an open tomb; with their tongues they have practiced deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips;

But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his immersion, he said to them, Offspring of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

Offspring of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one.

Serpents! Offspring of vipers! How will you escape the condemnation of Gehenna?

You are of the devil as your father, and the lusts of your father you purpose to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own, for he is a liar and the father of it.

and said, O full of all deceit and all mischief, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the right ways of the Lord?

He who produces sin is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this, the Son of God was made known, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not produce righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.

Jehovah has sworn in truth unto David; He will not turn from it: I will set upon your throne the fruit of your body.

Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign: Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bring forth a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel.

How long will you vacillate, O backsliding daughter? For Jehovah has created a new thing in the earth; a woman shall contain a man.

Therefore He will give them up until the time the one giving birth has given birth. Then the remnant of His brothers shall return to the sons of Israel.

Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bring forth a Son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel, which is translated, God with us.

and did not know her till she had brought forth her firstborn Son. And he called His name JESUS.

And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS.

And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.

And the angel answered and said to her, The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.

But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, brought forth out of a woman, brought forth under the Law,

And the God of peace will trample Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

Therefore He says: When He ascended on high, He led captive the captives, and gave gifts to men.

having disarmed rulers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,

and set free those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

And war broke out in Heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought,

but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in Heaven any longer.

And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her seed, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

And I saw an angel coming down from Heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should not lead astray the nations any more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.

Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder by the path, that bites the horse's heels so that its rider shall fall backward.

He is despised and rejected by men; a Man of pain, and knowing infirmity; a hiding of faces; being despised, we have esteemed Him not.

Truly He has borne our sicknesses, and carried our pain; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.

Therefore I will apportion to Him with the great, and He shall divide the spoils with the strong; because He has poured out His soul unto death; and He was reckoned among the transgressors; and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

And after sixty two weeks, Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself. And the people of a coming ruler shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end shall be with a flood, and desolations are determined, and there shall be war until the end.

Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.

And when the tempter came to Him, he said, If You are the Son of God, speak that these stones may become bread.

Then the devil takes Him up into the holy city, and sets Him on the wing of the temple,

Jesus said to him, It is written again, You shall not tempt the Lord your God.

And he says to Him, All these things I will give to You if You will fall down and do homage to me.

And coming out, He went to the Mount of Olives, as He was accustomed, and His disciples also followed Him.

And He was withdrawn from them about a stone's throw, and He knelt down and prayed,

Then an angel appeared to Him from Heaven, strengthening Him.

Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out.

This He said, signifying by what sort of death He was about to die.

I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me.

But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father commanded Me, thus I do. Arise, let us go from here.

For in that He Himself has suffered, being tested, He is able to help those who are tested.

who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who had the power to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear,

Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have affliction ten days. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.

So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who leads the whole world astray; he was cast out onto the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

And they overcame him through the blood of the Lamb and through the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives unto death.

And when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child.

And it was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation.

And I saw another sign in Heaven, great and marvelous: seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them the wrath of God is finished.

And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints.

After these things I looked, and behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in Heaven was opened.

Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be set loose out of his prison

and will go out to lead astray the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea.
